How to order from a Yupoo album without a panic attack
A Yupoo order is not a checkout. It is a photo album, a conversation and an agent. This is the full sequence, in the order that actually works.

What you are actually looking at
A Yupoo album is image hosting with a storefront attached. It is not a shop. There is no cart, no checkout, no reviews module and usually no stock counter. What exists is a grid of photographs, each one standing in for a product, with a price written somewhere in the caption and a contact method pinned to the profile.
That single fact explains almost every quirk of buying this way. Prices are in CNY because the seller is selling into the Chinese market. Sizes are Asian sizes because the sizing chart was written for a domestic buyer. Photos are shot on a phone or a lightbox because the album is a catalogue, not a retail page.
The promoted WWTop catalogue is organised the same way, but with brand files and category files laid over the top so a shopper can find a silhouette without walking the entire album.
Before you message anyone
Three things settle faster than a conversation with a seller: which item, which size, and how it reaches you.
- Lock the item. Take the product link, not a screenshot. Screenshots lose the colourway and the batch marker; a link keeps both.
- Lock the size from measurements. Measure a garment you already own and like. That number is the one to send, not "medium".
- Lock the route. Decide now whether you are using an agent or the seller's own shipping. It changes what you ask about in the first message.
The first message that gets a real answer
Sellers answer short, specific questions. Long introductions get short answers. A useful first message has four lines:
- The product link or album page.
- "Is this in stock in [size]?"
- "What is the fabric weight / movement / material?" — the category-specific spec.
- "Can you send a photo of the actual unit, including [detail]?"
If a seller cannot answer the spec question, that is information. Move on rather than negotiate.
Paying: what an agent is actually doing
An agent sits between you and the seller. You pay the agent; the agent buys from the album using a domestic payment method and a domestic address; the parcel arrives at their warehouse; they photograph it, weigh it, and ship it internationally when you tell them to.
What you are paying for is that middle leg plus the QC photos. Two lines follow from it: most agent services have a per-order handling fee, and shipping is charged by weight or volumetric weight, whichever is larger.
When it arrives
Open every parcel on camera. Photograph the label before you cut it. Then run the QC checklist while the item is still in the packaging, because a return is far easier to justify with the box, the label and the original packing all in one frame.
Keep the product link. If you reorder, that link is the only thing that reliably identifies the same batch.
Asked most about this guide
Do I need a Chinese phone number?
No, not for the buying side. Yupoo accounts are only needed if you want to save albums privately; most storefronts are public.
Can I pay the seller directly?
Some accept it. Most do not offer an international card method, which is why the agent route exists at all.
How long does the whole thing take?
Seller dispatch is usually 2-7 days, the domestic leg a couple of days, and international shipping 7-20 days depending on the line you choose.
What if it does not fit?
Returns internationally are rarely economic. The practical answer is to buy from measurements the first time, which is what the sizing guide is for.
